Preparing for First Public Showing


I have been working hard any chance I get to create and refine game mechanics over the past two weeks. In April I will be showing off my game for students at my local community college. The goal is to get early feedback so that I can tweak and change before everything is completely polished/finished.

Thus far I have worked on a small introduction cutscene, gardening, a complete redesign of the foraging system, bug smashing, and animations. I also added the town hall as a placeable building which, previously, was already built. I also modified the window skin so that it better matches other UI elements within the game.

The goal this week is to do extensive play testing, fix bugs, polish the rougher parts, and create some posters and stickers.
