Spring Break


Due to my college being on spring break I was able to make some progress this week! I am afraid that things will be slow going until I graduate due to the amount of assignments on top of needing to work as many hours as I can get.

This week I have been working on the forests surrounding the town. I want to flesh this area out a bit before moving on to some other mechanics that I want to test out. Yesterday I finally got customization of the player character sorted. There is only one option for each clothing slot at the moment but I will add more bit by bit as time goes by.

Ignore the random black button in the corner! I was testing some things out.

I am debating the HUD and ui choices at the moment. Primarily, I need to decide on the HUD and how tools and items will be used. I have experimented a little with some different options but I haven’t landed on anything that feels “right” yet. I will continue to experiment. My primary goal is for the screen to look uncluttered and minimal. I will keep trying until I hit on the correct combination!
